ProNUTRITION is an information resource that supports health care providers, community health workers, policy makers, and program managers with current, relevant, and practical knowledge and tools for decision-making. A wide range of information, such as discussion groups on timely topics, newsletters, documents on-line, links to useful Web sites, guidelines, and assessment tools, are offered on the site to assist individuals in the provision of better care based on knowledge. This website also contains information on the nutrient recommendations of HIV infected persons. The
document http://www.pronutrition.org/pubview.php/55/ indicates on page 15 (module 1) the recommendations for macro- and micronutrients in the case of HIV/AIDS. In module 2 there are practical guidelines given on nutrition guidelines to live positively, and nutrition and care recommendations for
children in infected households in given in module 5 of the report.

Consultation Document to Guide the Development of a WHO Global Strategy on Diet, Physical Activity and Health. - draft framework for the elaboration of the Global Strategy, and includes some key discussion points, which policymakers may wish to consider in preparing their input into the strategy as WHO prepares for Regional Consultations with Member States as part of its broad-ranging and ongoing consultative process. Member States were encouraged to use all opportunities.
